Further to Giles' insight into glass making, I thought I would take a look at how Crystal is made compared to ordinary glass. Little or no manufacturers exist in the UK now after companies such as Edinburgh Crystal and Waterford Crystal were both bought out in the past 10 years with production moving overseas. I am in the process of trying to find out any people that exist in this country to see the process first hand.
